Our team’s favourite podcasts
Podcasts are fast cementing their position as a cultural phenomenon, captivating people the world over. New data shows 2 million Australians listen to a podcast daily, and 39 percent of the country – roughly 8.2 million people – listen at least monthly.
Whether it’s true crime, pop culture, entertainment or news, podcasts are a daily habit for many in our team – and we’re excited to share some of our favourites with you.
“I love ‘The Imperfects’ with Hugh and Josh van Cuylenburg and Ryan Shelton. The podcast is all about how perfectly imperfect we all are, and the harms of constantly comparing ourselves to others. I love how the boys interview a variety of people with such unexpected stories and diverse backgrounds.”
Kate, Senior Events Manager
“Like Kate, I’m a big fan of ‘The Imperfects’. I also really enjoy ‘The Diary Of A CEO’, which provides great insights into the remarkable stories of the world’s most influential people and thinkers. I really love the powerful and introspective conversations with some of the world’s best leaders.”
Ashleigh, Founder and Director
“I can’t decide between my two favourite podcasts – ‘Seize The Yay’ by ex-lawyer Sarah Davidson and ‘Tell Me More’ with Olivia Molly Rogers. Both Sarah and Olivia are influencers I follow, so I love hearing them open up, and enjoy the interesting stories from their guests.”
Alison, Social Media Account Director
“When I’m walking my dog, Luna, I put on an episode of KIC which I love because it’s just two gals having a chat! I also love true crime – I know I’m very late but I’ve just gotten into The Teacher’s Pet, and I also enjoyed listening to The Mushroom Cook. For something shorter, I usually put on Casefile, and when I feel like something work-related then I’ll listen to Smarter Marketer.”
Clarissa, Senior Marketing and Communications Manager
“I’m another true crime lover, my favourite podcast is ‘RedHanded’, which is hosted by two british girls Hannah and Suruthi. I love how they discuss crimes with a bit of banter and how they are able to do a thorough job while still being funny.”
Tyhe, Graphic and Digital Designer
“I don’t listen to many podcasts, but my one exception is ‘Everybody Has A Secret’ with Annabelle Lee and Louis Hanson. Listeners send in their never-before-told confessions, and I usually end up spending the whole episode trying to figure out if I know the person who’s sharing their secret.”
Nate, Strategy and Operations Director
